In recent years, Xiamen has been beefing up efforts to develop a cultural development model led by the movie and TV industry. A MICE industrial ecosphere, supported by commerce and trade, finance, advanced technology, and cultural innovation, has taken shape in the city.

A three-year plan to propel the high-quality development of the cultural, tourism, exhibition, and convention industries was unveiled at the conference, and a wide range of preferential policies, including ones related to the cultivation of high-end talents, were also released at the conference in an effort to create a more suitable environment for the development of the culture, tourism, and MICE industries.
