A new flight linking the coastal city of Xiamen, East China's Fujian province, with Osaka, Japan, will be introduced on Dec 17, Xiamen Daily reported on Nov 27.

The new route, operated by Spring Airlines, will be available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, offering a total of five round-trip flights. It departs from Xiamen at 11:50 pm and arrives in Osaka at 3:30 am local time, while the return flight will leave Osaka at 8:10 pm and land in Xiamen at 10:50 pm.

The new route is expected to help promote bilateral trade and cultural exchange between the two cities.
