Fujian AI Chamber of Commerce was established in the coastal city of Xiamen Dec 3 to facilitate the high-quality development of Fujian's private enterprises, China News reported Dec 4.

In recent years, Fujian, which stands at the forefront in the country in terms of the construction of a smart city, has achieved remarkable results in artificial intelligence (AI). The AI chamber of commerce will set up a platform to promote the development of the AI industry, as well as boost the high-quality development of private high-tech firms in Fujian, according to Chen Jianqiang, vice-chairman of the Fujian Federation of Commerce and Industry.

The Fujian AI Chamber of Commerce has gathered together the most outstanding AI enterprises, scholars and experts in the province with the aim of promoting the agglomeration and development of the AI industry, and has built a comprehensive platform for innovation-driven development to help transform and upgrade local industry.

Cai Xiaoqiang, chairman of the AI commerce chamber, noted that Fujian is home to several AI enterprises with high scientific and technological content. The chamber will help the city build a brand ecosystem for its AI industry and greatly accelerate AI development.
