Xiamen Security Science and Technology College, established in 2014, is a full-time higher educational institution. With planned coverage of 38.7 hectares, the college now covers a combined floor area of 140,000 square meters and is equipped with fully fledged infrastructure. It has nearly 4,000 students. 

The college strives to promote practical teaching and college-enterprise cooperation. It has built 28 laboratories for 23 vocational majors, and has worked with over 30 enterprises and institutions such as Ropeok Technology Group, Tangram Technology and Fujian Academy of Safety Science and Technology to build training bases. The school now has over 30 such practical training bases off campus. 

The college has been dedicated to international education since 2017 with the aim of improving the quality of its education. It gained qualification to recruit overseas students after receiving approval from senior administration. At present, it has recruited a number of overseas students from the United Kingdom, Turkey, India and other countries. 

The Poly Culture Group has already purchased the college, and the Palace Museum has set up a branch of its academy that will start recruiting students in 2019. The Palace Museum will become the training base for the college.
