CIFIT strengthens communication with member departments

The organizing committee of the China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) sent a working group to visit the fair's member departments in Shaanxi, Shanxi and Hebei provinces.

The group was led by Wang Qiongwen, a high-ranking official of the organizing committee and the director of the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Convention and Exhibition Affairs.

The group paid official visits to the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Commerce, Shanxi Provincial Investment Promotion Centre and Hebei Provincial Department of Commerce in sequence.

Wang described the achievements made at the 20th CIFIT and detailed the organizing committee's plan for the 21st CIFIT to staff members of the three member departments.

According to Wang, the organizing committee will continue to optimize its customer relationship management system and work to strengthen the fair's international influence. 

Li Rongsheng, deputy director of the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Commerce, said that Shaanxi province has been attaching great importance to CIFIT and has been able to establish partnerships with enterprises in Taiwan thanks to the forum. Li also suggested that the organizing committee provides more comprehensive and professional services to member departments.

Ai Lingyu, director of the Shanxi Provincial Investment Promotion Centre, said that Shanxi, as the guest province of honor of the 21st CIFIT, plans to increase its involvement in the fair by holding more activities at next year’s fair and deepening its relationship with Fujian province.

An Jing, deputy director of the Hebei Provincial Department of Commerce, said that Hebei has been preparing to apply to become the guest province of honor at the 22nd and 23rd CIFITs and is seeking opportunities to deepen cooperation with the CIFIT organizing committee in investment promotion.

The working group also visited the Xi'an Center for Expo Affairs and Qujiang International Convention & Exhibition Center in Xi'an, Shanxi province and held in-depth discussions with the centers' high-ranking employees on the institutional reform and operation of exhibition halls.
