This year's Fortune Global 500 features a total of 129 Chinese companies with 40 Chinese cities as the home of their headquarters.

Beijing takes first place with 56 companies in one city, followed by Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hong Kong.

Xiamen in East China's Fujian province ranks No 5 with 3 companies listed in the Fortune Global 500.
