The Xiamen municipal culture and tourism bureau put forward a variety of package tours concerning the China Golden Rooster & Hundred Flowers Film Festival, an international gala which took place in the city on Nov 19-23. 

Travel agencies, hotels and scenic spots at the city all geared up to welcome visitors from home and afar. 

For example, a five-day-four-night package tour highlighting a number of Xiamen local theaters, cinemas and characteristic performances gained unprecedented popularity among tourists. A three-day trip targeting culture and art followers also invited them to many must-go while little-known places in Xiamen. 

The sandy beach in front of the Xiamen International Convention Center, where the drone light show and piano concert unveiling the curtain of the film festival was held, also became a must-visit for tourists. 

The city also filmed a documentary during the event, presenting international audiences with the coastal city's catering, scenery, art and culture.
