The Xiamen Overseas Talent Pioneer Park ranked third among 350 pioneer parks across China, according to a report released at the development seminar of the China Overseas Talent Pioneer Park held in Changshu, East China's Jiangsu province, on Nov 15.

Established in 2002, the Xiamen Overseas Talent Pioneer Park has cultivated more than 2,000 domestic and overseas science and technology experts and fostered over 150 enterprises for overseas students from the US, the UK, Singapore, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand.

Over the past few years, the park has been focusing on the development of several key industrial chains and has established a platform for innovation and entrepreneurship, resulting in the rapid growth of its strategic emerging industries. Various measures have been taken to accelerate innovative development, including the hosting of international innovation and entrepreneurship competitions, and the city has also implemented preferential policies to attract innovative international resources. The Xiamen Overseas Talent Pioneer Park has become a new growth engine for innovation and entrepreneurship in the city.
