Poster exhibition offers insight into China's film history

A poster exhibition celebrating 100 years of Chinese films commenced in Xiamen, a coastal city in East China's Fujian province, on Nov 19, giving movie buffs a chance to explore the history of China's film industry.

The exhibition, jointly hosted by the China Radio and Television Publishing House and the Xiamen Radio and Television Group, displayed hundreds of posters from the 1930s to the 21st century, vividly showcasing the history of Chinese films.

The exhibition is part of the 28th Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival, which kicked off in Xiamen on Nov 19 and will run until Nov 23.
