Xiamen Subway Line 2 passes final inspection

Xiamen's Subway Line 2 passed its final inspection on Nov 6 and is scheduled to open to the public at the end of this year, according to Xiamen Rail Transit Group.
The 41.64-kilometer line runs from Wuyuan Bay in Huli district to Tianzhu Mountain in Haicang district and consists of 32 stops.
The testing committee for Subway Line 2 announced that the subway meets operation standards, and a final safety assessment and trial operations will be completed by the end of the year. Follow-up consultations will be carried out by the rail transit group in an effort to begin trial operations as soon as possible.
