The Xiamen Torch High-Tech Zone in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province, has brought in several third-party service providers to introduce customized services for environmental protection, Xiamen Daily reported on Nov 12.
The high-tech zone has signed several technical service agreements with Xiamen University to strengthen environmental protection, which includes things like the planning of public spaces and industrial layout adjustments.
The zone also set up an online platform operated by the aforementioned service providers to offer specialized services related to environmental monitoring data and online consulting, making it possible for enterprises in the zone to look up environmental laws and regulations at any time.
According to authorities, the third-party service providers can help improve the zone's pollution regulations and environmental management.
The service providers have helped the zone better reconcile industrial development with environmental protection.
