Director: Huang Jiakang, Zhao Ji

Genre: Animation, Romance, Fantasy

White Snake is based on a popular Chinese folk tale in which a white snake longing for a human existence turns into a woman and marries a scholar named Xu Xian. The movie takes place before the white snake meets Xu at West Lake in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province.

Film Review: The story is great for young people due to its exploration of love and relationships. It explores the insecurities that many young couples feel, such as "what if I'm not who you imagine me to be, will you still love me?"
