The activity received more than 1,200 works from both sides of the Taiwan Straits. Two competitors from Taiwan won the gold medal.

A poetry recital activity themed around the Minnan dialect of southern Fujian was also held at the festival to promote the preservation and development of the Minnan dialect and further integrate cultures on both sides of the Taiwan Straits.
