Xiamen took the lead in East China's Fujian province in establishing an online platform for the cancellation of business entities on Aug 30.

According to the city's supervision administration, the platform's purpose is to break down the barriers between government departments, streamline cancellation procedures for enterprises, and further optimize the city's business environment.

By logging on to the platform, business entities in Xiamen can simultaneously apply for business license, tax, customs and business cancellations (involving foreign-invested enterprises).

They can also inquire on the platform about the procedures, guidelines, progress and results of relevant departments' cancellations.
