A major addition to the health and lifestyle landscape -- the largest comprehensive fitness center in Xiamen in eastern Fujian province -- has been completed after three years of construction and will open its doors to public on Sept 1.

With a total investment of 336 million yuan ($47 million), the total construction area of the fitness center covers a whopping 54,294 square meters.

There is a competition hall with 1,550 seats, a training hall with three basketball courts and a tennis hall with three tennis courts on the first floor.

On the second floor, there is a badminton hall with 28 badminton courts and a table tennis hall with 24 table tennis courts.

What's more, in order to alleviate parking difficulties, the fitness center is equipped with a two-story underground parking lot with a total of 791 parking spots.
