As the Mid-Autumn Festival approaches, Xiamen in East China's Fujian province, plans to hold a temple fair at the city's Minnan Culture Town on Aug 30-Sept 1.

Visitors may join in various activities featuring Xiamen intangible cultural heritages such as lacquer thread sculpture, bead embroidery and paper quilling.

What's more, delicacies from Xiamen's time-honored brands will offer an extraordinary experience to foodies. 

The opening ceremony will be at 8 pm on Aug 30. Performances featuring local folk customs will be staged at the culture town.
