A choral concert in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China was held at the Children's Palace of Xiamen on Aug 4. 

Organized by Jinmen Fellowship Association and Xiamen Children's Palace under the guidance of the Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office and Overseas Association in Xiamen, the concert was performed by choruses from both sides of Taiwan Straits, with the aim of promoting cross-Straits exchanges in music and culture. 

Seven teams sang a series of songs at the concert, with Descendants of the Dragon, a well-known Chinese song, inspiring 400 audience members to join in spontaneously.
