Xiamen per capita disposable income leads Fujian cities

The per capita disposable income of residents in Xiamen, Fujian province, ranked first among the province's nine cities in the first half of this year, according to the Xiamen Investigation Team of the National Bureau of Statistics.
Statistics showed that per capita disposable income of Xiamen residents stood at 29,242 yuan ($4,254.14), a year-on-year increase of 10 percent, 0.7 percent higher than the provincial level, during the first six months of this year.
The per capita living expenditure in the city amounted to 18,472 yuan, an increase of 5.2 percent year-on-year.
The per capita disposable income of urban residents in the city soared 8.3 percent year-on-year to 30,666 yuan while that of rural residents surged 10.2 percent year-on-year to 15,068 yuan during the same period, statistics from a survey showed.
