The 10th annual Xiamen-Jinmen swimming competition across the Xiamen-Jinmen Straits was successfully held July 14, with 162 people participating in the relay race, local media reported.

The swimming event this year, as in previous years, included a relay race, with two participants per group finishing a 7-kilometer-long swim. In addition, 81 pairs of swimmers mainly from Beijing, Shanghai, Fujian province, and Taiwan, were divided into male and female groups for the event.
