A series of promotional events for Xiamen, Zhangzhou, Quanzhou, Sanming and Longyan in southwest Fujian province were held in Wuhan in Hubei province and Yueyang and Changsha in Hunan province from July 4-9.

The events featured new resources and cultural tourism products from southwest Fujian, with a particular focus on high-speed rail and intangible cultural heritages.

According to a spokesman for the events, with the improvement of transportation between Hubei, Hunan and southwest Fujian, people in Hubei and Hunan can easily travel to southwest Fujian by plane and high-speed railway, among other means.
