Siming district in Xiamen, Fujian province, hosted members of the mainstream media, including Xinhuanet, Dongnannet and Xiamen Daily, for a visit to a kindergarten in Linxia county, Gansu province, June 3.

The provincial level standard kindergarten was established in 1987 and experienced an upgraded relocation in 2014 after receiving a 1 million yuan ($145,556) donation from the Siming government and 5.54 million yuan from Linxia county government.

The happy, carefree children at the kindergarten were playing on their well-decorated playground when the media corps visited, according to Taihainet. The playground had many large items,  such as slides, and the vegetation cover rate was very high.

In the classrooms, the children had many toys to use in their imaginative play to act as doctors, nurses, dressers and safety guards.

In addition, safety facilities such as antiskid soft rubber, grid guards attached to the stairs and full network coverage are also available.
