E-commerce challenge qualification trials start in Xiamen

The 9th China National College Students Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship Challenge qualification trials started at Xiamen Huaxia University June 29, local media reported.

A raft of 2,082 teams from 32 universities in Fujian province signed up for the games and 107 of those made it into the qualification trials. A group of 76 teams entered the finals through selection.

The finals were presented in the form of a roadshow and focused on such hot topics such as Internet Plus, artificial intelligence and the sharing economy.

Two teams from Jimei University and one from Xiamen University won the first three places after fierce competition.

Li Qi, an official, said that the entry programs in the qualification trials were above average and some of them had already been implemented.

Li added that the qualification trails were designed to enhance the students' practical abilities through participating in the competition.
