An art troupe from Xiamen Torch School in Fujian province is set to dazzle at a national children's dance event in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, with their original performance in July, local media reported.

These young dancers already offered their audience eye-catching performances at the Asian Culture Carnival and Children's Day gala on China's national television channel CCTV in early June.

According to Wang Changle, a person in charge of the troupe, they were informed by the Chinese Dancers Association earlier this month that their original performance had been shortlisted for the national children's dance event.

Wang added that the dance show in Guangzhou represents the top original dance nationwide.
