A group of college students majoring in landscape architecture handed in their homework on the playground at the Xiamen University Tan Kah Kee College and created a spectacular scene on the campus in June, local media reported.
Among the 42 paintings, five large ones from the School of Architecture drew most attention from passersby.
One of the creators, surnamed Yang, said that she was inspired by eight beautiful scenery spots on the campus. It took her one month to complete the assignment, including landscape analysis, field research, data collection, design and mounting.
"It's the longest painting I've ever drawn," she added. "There are more other lovely scenery spots waiting there for insightful eyes, and I hope my works can reveal the beauty of our college."
