A cheerleading team from Xiamen in East China's Fujian province claimed the championship title at a cheerleading open held in Austria on June 15.

The girls danced in an orderly formation with energetic and uniform movements while incorporating a unique Beijing opera style, which stunned the audience and won top place in the kids' ball dance team category.

It marks the second time that the team, with a total of 12 members, has come in first at international cheerleading championships.

"Without any stage fright, the girls have outperformed themselves in such a high-level arena," said Hong Ying, the team's coach said during an online interview.
