The 17th China Cross-Straits Technology and Projects Fair will open in Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian province, June 17. More than 200 small and medium-sized enterprises from Xiamen will attend the fair, local media reported on June 13.

Most of the attendees are technological enterprises. Xiamen NEU Craft Co Ltd, for example, is a national high-tech enterprise engaged in research, development and production of new materials.

NEU has developed an innovative polymer wallboard that is waterproof and can be used for anti-seismic building, fire prevention, heat preservation and insulation, and sound insulation. It is also an environment-friendly material, and is very light in weight.

According to the manager of NEU, 90 percent of the material can be recycled and reused. It weighs only about 2.5 kilograms per square meter, which can greatly reduce the building load.

Xiamen Jiwei Tech Co Ltd is a high-tech enterprise that provides professional global communication services, as well as internet, internet of things and artificial intelligence services for major enterprises.

The self-service enterprise communication platform independently developed by Jiwei can provide users with cloud communication services, such as money transfer and bill checking.
