Xiamen high-tech firms to appear at Fuzhou fair

More than 200 businesses from the city of Xiamen in eastern Fujian province are expected to attend the 17th China Straits Projects and Achievements Fair, to be held in the capital city Fuzhou on June 17- 21, according to local media reports.

Organizers said the participating Xiamen businesses are involved in artificial intelligence, electronic information, the internet of things and smart health.

At the fair, they will seek to do business with Fortune 500 firms, Taiwan companies and leading private groups.

Among the hopeful Xiamen companies, the Xiamen East Haven Group will bring to the fair its smart home system, also called an "electronic automatic nanny", which is capable of controlling home appliances, house lights and electric curtains, and monitoring coal gas, formaldehyde, and even carbon dioxide levels.

The latest intelligent voice color touch panel developed by East Haven will make its debut at the upcoming fair.

At the 2018 edition of the event, Xiamen secured a total of 973 business ventures, 626 of which have been put into operation.
