Xiamen Lingling International Circus World recently invited the "Panda Class" in Sichuan province – a successful public science education program focusing on the unique animal - to come to the city of Xiamen in Fujian province to deliver lectures on the giant panda.

The Panda Class was established by the Chengdu Giant Panda Research Foundation in 2013 - to arouse people's awareness about the need to protect endangered wildlife and the environment, and to popularize related concerns.

The first lecture was held on June 2 and attracted 30 families. The lecturer talked about the natural conditions, living environment, evolving changes and survival status of the giant panda and explained his points through the use of pictures, video and models.

According to Lingling International Circus World, the hope is that more people become passionate about wildlife and want to help with the protection of wildlife and the environment.
