Xiamen Children's Hospital (XMCH), an affiliated hospital of the Children's Hospital of Fudan University, celebrated its fifth anniversary on June 1.

XMCH revealed its plan to become the regional center of the National Children's Medical Center within the next five years.

The Haixi Pediatric Forum was held on the same day in honor of the anniversary.

Renowned pediatric experts from home and abroad gathered to discuss the latest research hotspots and pressing issues in the field of pediatrics.

Over the past five years, XMCH has seen rapid development in all aspects, including medical technology, talent training and clinical research.

To date, the hospital has provided medical and health services to nearly 2 million people from Xiamen and surrounding areas, becoming a major children's hospital in East China's Fujian province.

In addition, as an annual routine of XMCH, 13 pediatric experts from the Children's Hospital of Fudan University came to Xiamen to provide free medical services to children on June 1.
