"No matter where you are, oil the top of a wall, by the roadside, on a grass slope or in the crack of a stone, you can always blossom in the four seasons as long as there is sunshine. All, I can see you when I look up, I can feel you when one lowers my head, and one can dream of you when one closes my eyes..." This is selected from the famous work Bougainvillea under Sunlight Rock by the famous female poet Shu Ting in Xiamen. 

Bougainvillea is the city flower of Xiamen, which was called "Bougainvillea spectabilis wild" in ancient times. In the north, it is often called "Yexiaohua" in Chinese or the "Triangle Flower". In Hong Kong it is called "Bougan" in transliteration. 

Bougainvillea can blossom in all four seasons. It couples hardness with softness and displays simple and unadorned features. It can be planted in a pot or in a field. It is very vibrant, which symbolizes the struggling "no pain, no gain" spirit of Xiamen people.
