The peddling songs involving hot meat dumplings that vendors sing in a cold winter night can often be heard. Such songs allow people to get into the mood of Xiamen. There are two restaurants in Xiamen which are popular for making hot meat dumplings and other local snacks, they are Haoqingxiang and Xinnanxuan.
