The Czech Republic made its debut at the 20th China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT) as this year's Country of Honor, introducing to other attendees its investment environment and policies.
The 20th CIFIT is now well underway in Xiamen, Fujian province and China Daily interviewed Stepan Pavlik, director of the Czech Tourism Shanghai Office of the Czech Tourist Authority about the country's future plans for attracting Chinese tourists.
According to Stepan, the Czech Republic should take the demands of Chinese tourists  into consideration and make corresponding measures. "For example, Chinese tourists like boiled water, but kettles are rarely seen in most European hotels. So I suggest Czech hotels should  provide kettles to better satisfy their demand, thus attracting more tourists," he said.
