The Xiamen Industry Exposition (XMIE), also known as the Taiwan Trade Fair, is the largest and most influential exhibition in the industrial field crossing the Straits. It is a global and professional exhibition platform for intelligent manufacturing, featuring brand display, technology exchange and instant customization, and displays advanced equipment and technologies in the manufacturing industry. It also releases the latest information and arranges a series of activities, such as the Cross-Straits Economy and Trade Forum, aiming to promote mutual cooperation. 

As the largest cross-Straits industry exhibition, XMIE attracts approximately 1,000 enterprises annually. In 2018, the exhibition took up 85,000 square meters. More than 1,000 enterprises, 30,000 merchants and a great number of delegations from 28 countries and regions, such as the United States, Japan, Malaysia, and Thailand, attended the event to look for business cooperation opportunities. 

The 2019 edition will be held from April 12 to 15.
